I’m Vicky Silverthorn, a professional organiser and founder of You Need A Vicky. We have over 12 year experience and are one of the UK’s leading professional organising and decluttering businesses. From our base in London, my team and I extend our services throughout Oxfordshire helping people to declutter, organise and regain control over their spaces. We work with the philosophy that a tidy, organised home, creates a clearer, happier mind, and we take pride in helping our clients achieve clarity within their homes.  At the beginning of 2023 we were really excited to open our Henley-On-Thames branch bringing our services to people in Henley-On-Thames, Marlowe, Didcot, Woodcote, Maidenhead, Taplow, Reading and surrounding areas.

What is your decluttering process?

1. Make an Enquiry

We make sure that you’re in control of the process – from your first message or call to our finishing touches in your space. Call us, or send us a message on our website to get the ball rolling. Let us know what your goals are, and we’ll get back to you with our advice on how best to proceed.

There’s no obligation on your part here, we’ll happily explain how our days work and you can decide if the process is right for you.

2. Book a date in our diary

If you’re happy with how we can help you organise or declutter your home, then we’ll find a date that suits both of us and get you booked in our diary.

3. Your 7-Day Reminder

We’ll call you a week before your booked day as a quick reminder. The evening before your appointment your Senior Organiser will also send you one more message, to check that you’re ready for us.

4. Knock knock!

At the start of your booked day, we’ll get to know each other over a quick cup of tea and you can show us the spaces you want us to work on, so we can formulate a plan of what needs to be done.

5. We get started!

We’ll then roll our sleeves up and get down to the task at hand. If we’re decluttering your space, then it would be ideal if you’re present for as much of the process as possible.

However, if we’re just organising your spaces then you can leave us to it. You decide how much you’d like to be involved in the day.
