Common Misconceptions

Posted by Vicky Silverthorn on 1st December 2014 (updated: 2nd March 2018)

Being organised doesn’t mean perfection around the home. There is no 100% organised not with normal daily living. In fact in my view the expectation of perfection can be just as negative as being messy.

A home should be lived in, should be friendly and organisation and no clutter can easily fit into this description.

Don’t aim for unrealistic levels that you can’t keep up. Decluttering and organising is to make you feel calmer and less guilty in your own home. It’s creates a more streamlined environment.

Take the pressure off – decluttering is an enjoyable thing (well for some anyway!)
