This vintage Good House Keeping magazine from September 1947, the month and year my mum was born, mixes my love of old with a beautiful connection to someone I loved so much.
This year, on what would have been her 69th birthday, I ordered this from eBay and will pick out pictures to frame in my home.
I think this is a wonderful way to remind me of my mum every time I look at them. How fascinating to think of the changes gone by and the way the world was all that time ago.
