How To: Treasure Childhood Memories

Posted by Vicky Silverthorn on 24th July 2018 (updated: 2nd October 2024)

Many of my clients have precious sentimental items, perhaps family heirlooms that have been handed down to them or special books from their childhood.  If you want to keep items in the best condition possible over time, I usually recommend keeping them in an airtight container, out of sunlight and away from damp.

Sometimes these items can make a creative arty feature in a home, such as on a shelf or bookcase to showcase your personality and add a personal touch to your home.  These vintage fairytale books below are just one example of neat and tidy organised memories that you will appreciate every time you glance at them.  It could be a conversation starter with guests and a chance to rediscover your favourite stories from your early years!
